Our signature event of the year, the Runway to Hope Spring Fashion Soiree was held this Saturday, May 10, 2014, hosted by Brooke Burke and Ross Mathews at Rosen Shingle Creek. This year's event brought has more than 1,900 guests in attendance and raised more than $820,000 toward the fight against pediatric cancer. Funds raised at the Runway to Hope Spring Fashion Soiree directly benefit the pediatric oncology programs at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Florida Hospital for Children and Nemours Children's Hospital. The highlight of the evening was a special fashion show featuring more than 120 incredible and brave children, ages 2 to 18, all who are currently battling or have overcome their cancer. Modeling much more than clothing, these courageous children walk the runway arm in arm with one of our dozens of national and local celebrity escorts as they show off their truest beauty of all – their unwavering spirits. Our Runway to Hope Spring Fashion Soiree is a celebration of these children and their incomparable strength and courage. A special and heartfelt thanks to our Runway to Hope sponsors and board members as well as all of the wonderful individuals, companies, volunteers, committee members and members of the Central Florida community who helped make the Runway to Hope Spring Fashion Soiree a huge success. Without all of you, the work we do would not be possible. Your support and generosity truly touched the lives of so many in ways you may never know but which you will be forever blessed.
