1 in 3 families experience Income & Work Disruption due to their child's diagnosis.

Often times at least one parent must quit their job in order to become a full time caregiver to their child.
THE REALITY IS: Families lose out on essential income to make sure their child gets the care they need, especially single parent families.

In 2023, 44% of the families Runway to Hope served were living below the poverty line.

Whether they were living in poverty prior to their diagnosis or because of their diagnosis, these families were in severe need of relief of their financial burdens.
THE REALITY IS: Runway to Hope is filling the gap for these families when it comes to financial assistance.

The needs are endless.

Relapse can happen months or years after remission, and outcomes are much worse after relapse, with about 35% of children surviving.
THE REALITY IS: Research is NECESSARY to improve these outcomes.
THE REALITY IS: Financial assistance is NECESSARY to support families time and time again.
