The ELB is limited to 17 active board positions that serve a calendar year term. Invitations are sent in November of each year.
Members are required to acknowledge the ELB Roles and Responsibilities that include the following requirements:
To serve as Advocates & Ambassadors for Runway to Hope
Attend 3/4 of the Emerging Leaders Board Meetings (8 out of 12 Monthly Meetings) as well as make an active effort to attend Runway to Hope sanctioned events
$125 Annual Membership Dues
The Emerging Leaders Board’s (“ELB”) purpose is to support Runway to Hope (“RTH”) and its Board of Directors by raising awareness of our collective efforts among a new generation of doers and thinkers. RTH’s Emerging Leaders represent many of Central Florida's top industries and draw from their collective potential to unite behind a common purpose: supporting RTH, the families we serve, and beating childhood cancer.
Through use of digital engagement, networking events, and by donating our time to support the children and families who rely on RTH, the ELB works to engage philanthropists in the Central Florida region dedicated to providing direct support to children and families who have been affected by pediatric cancer in our local community.
Emerging Leaders understand and appreciate the importance of being an active and engaged member of their community. They lead by example, setting the standard for what it means to be an ethical, compassionate, and philanthropic professional.
