The Runway to Hope HOPE Program was created to honor our kids who have reached their five year milestone of being cancer free! Runway to Hope is very passionate about celebrating with our children and their families. When our models transition to their five year milestone of being NED (no evidence of disease), they are invited to participate in our HOPE Program to give back to those kids who are still in active treatment. It is not an easy feat to overcome this terrible disease and many have said their support systems are key to their pediatric cancer journey. By fostering the opportunity for mentored relationships, Runway to Hope’s goal is to bring children and their families together who have been through the trials and tribulations of pediatric cancer.
HOPE Program participants are invited to be a volunteer buddy at our Bloomingdale’s Bash weekend to help models choose their clothing for the runway. Being a volunteer buddy includes escorting the model around Bloomingdale’s to choose their outfit, enjoy the activities with them, and spend time with the model to inspire HOPE! HOPE Program participants are also invited to attend our annual Spring Soiree to escort a model down the runway, in support of their continued fights against pediatric cancer.
