Executive Director
Originally born in Ohio and raised in Orlando since the age of seven, Laura brings over a decade of nonprofit leadership experience to Runway to Hope. She is a proud UCF Alumni and holds a degree in Stage Management, which has equipped her with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, allowing her to guide the Runway to Hope team with precision and vision. Laura earned her Certificate in Leadership Practice from the Crummer Graduate School of Business through the Edyth Bush Institute and graduated from the 103rd Leadership Orlando class in May 2023. Passionate about making a lasting impact, Laura is committed to advancing Runway to Hope’s mission, ensuring that Central Florida families battling pediatric cancer receive the support they need.

Director of Operations & Marketing
Jenny has been a vital part of Runway to Hope’s growth since 2016. After starting as an Event Assistant, she quickly rose to Director of Operations in 2019, overseeing process improvements, website development, and marketing management, while also contributing to the 2023-2025 Strategic Planning process. Jenny moved to Orlando 10 years ago to attend UCF where she earned her degree in Musical Theatre, which now deepens her ability to connect with families on a personal level, providing her the empathy needed to understand their stories and challenges. She feels honored to play a role in making a difference for the families and children battling pediatric cancer.

Strategy & Advocacy Manager
Baily’s journey with Runway to Hope began when, as the leader of the National Honor Society at Osceola School for the Arts, she organized volunteer efforts for the charity’s grocery delivery program. Witnessing the profound challenges faced by families battling pediatric cancer ignited her passion for the cause. After working part-time for the 2022 Annual Spring Soiree, Baily’s dedication led her to take on the role of Event Manager. She has since transitioned into a full-time position as Strategy & Advocacy Manager, where she continues to champion support for local families.

Katie, originally from Connecticut but raised in Orlando, brings a strong educational background and a deep commitment to supporting children and their families. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida, followed by a master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Florida. Katie has been a dedicated volunteer with Runway to Hope for many years, and this past Spring Soiree, she served as our Patient Family Manager. With her background in teaching, especially in providing individualized support for children and families with diverse needs, Katie is excited to transition her skills to focus on assisting families here in Central Florida who are navigating the challenges of pediatric cancer.
